Privacy Policy
Summary
- You can play without giving us your name, email or any contact details. We never ask for them.
- We use a random player identifier to keep your progress, and, if you link Google Play Games or Sign in with Apple to use the shop, an account identifier from that service. Sign in with Apple is used without your name or email.
- Gameplay statistics are sent only if you say yes to the question in the game, and you can turn them off at any time in Settings.
- Crash reports help us fix bugs. They contain no name or account identifier, and you can turn them off in Settings.
- Ads are optional: the game shows an ad only when you choose to watch one for a reward (for example, doubling a level's Coins), and only if you said yes to rewarded ads. There are no banners and no ads that interrupt play. We do not sell your data to data brokers.
- You can delete your account and data from the game (Settings → Data) or, if you signed in with Google Play Games or Apple, by asking us.
1. Who is responsible
The controller of your personal data is Alberto González Cuenca, NIF 50876905P, Calle Cruz del Sur 14, 28007 Madrid, Spain ("we"), publisher of the game as "BetitoGlez". Contact: privacy@albertogc.com.
2. What we collect and why
| Data | Purpose | Legal basis | Kept for |
|---|---|---|---|
| Random player identifier created by the game (Unity Gaming Services), and your game progress (levels, stars) | Save your progress: for this installation's guest account, or, once you link Google Play Games or Apple, for the player account linked to it on every device | Performance of our contract with you (the game you asked to play) | Until you delete it from the game, or 24 months after your last use of the game. Players signed in with Google Play Games or Apple can also ask us to delete it (see section 7) |
| Shop account: PlayFab player identifier and the identifier of your Google Play Games or Apple account (no name, no email). The same sign-in is also linked to your player account so your progress follows you | Keep your Coins, Gems, power-ups and progress, recover them on a new device, deliver purchases, and verify deletion requests | Contract; legal obligation (handling deletion requests) | As above |
| Coins, Gems, power-ups and the record of rewards already paid | Run the in-game economy fairly and only once per reward | Contract | As above |
| Purchase records: product, store order or transaction identifier, date; refund records | Deliver what you bought, recover interrupted purchases, apply store refunds, support | Contract; legal obligations; our legitimate interest in preventing fraud | Purchase and refund records may be kept for 6 years for legal and anti-fraud reasons, unlinked from your game data after deletion |
| Gameplay statistics: levels played, results, timings, positions inside a level, purchases made in the shop, app version, language, and data added by Unity (pseudonymous user and session identifiers, device model, operating system, country derived from your IP address) | Understand which levels are too hard or too easy and improve the game | Your consent, which you can withdraw at any time in Settings. Players who indicate they are under 16 are not asked and nothing is sent | Raw events: 13 months, then deleted automatically by Unity. Aggregated figures (such as daily players and session length): until you delete your account or we remove them. Deleting your account also asks Unity to delete your data, which it does within 30 days |
| Crash reports: technical details of the crash, device model, operating system, app version, and installation identifiers generated by Firebase Crashlytics | Find and fix crashes | Our legitimate interest in a game that works; you can object at any time by turning crash reports off in Settings | 90 days |
| Technical connection data (IP address) and server logs without game content | Deliver the service securely and investigate failures | Legitimate interest in security | 90 days |
| Messages you send us (for example your email address) | Answer you and handle your requests | Legal obligation (rights requests); legitimate interest | Up to 3 years after the request is closed |
| Rewarded ads, only if you say yes to them: your device's advertising identifier (Android advertising ID; on iOS the IDFA only if you allow tracking), device and connection data (model, operating system, IP address, language), how you interact with the ads, and a pseudonymous ad user identifier derived from your player account (never your name or email) | Show the ads you choose to watch, verify each completed view so we can give you its reward exactly once, prevent fraud, measure the ads and, if you allow it, personalise them | Your consent, which you can withdraw at any time in Settings (Rewarded ads). In the EEA, the UK and Switzerland personalised ads also need your choice in the consent form shown before any ad; on iOS they also need permission to track. Players who indicate they are under 16 only receive non-personalised ads | Our record of each view (reservation, verification and grant) is kept while it can still be claimed and 8 days after; the ad networks keep their data under their own policies |
Stored only on your device and never sent to us: your settings (language, volume), your answers to the statistics and rewarded-ads questions, your "Do not sell or share my data" choice, the age range you select before that question (under 13, 13-15 or 16 and over; never your birth date), offline progress waiting to be synchronised, and a local folder key derived from a device identifier. All of it is erased when you delete your data from Settings or uninstall the game. On Android the game excludes all of this data from Google backups and device-to-device transfers, so nothing is restored if you reinstall.
We do not collect your name, email (unless you write to us), phone number, contacts, precise location, photos, microphone or files. The game has no chat and no user-generated content.
3. Children
The game is rated for a broad audience but is not designed specifically for young children. We do not knowingly collect more than the minimum technical data described above from children. Players under 16 are not asked to consent to gameplay statistics, which stay off. If you are a parent or guardian and believe your child gave us personal data, contact privacy@albertogc.com and we will delete it. Purchases by minors require the permission of a parent or guardian; Google Play and the App Store offer parental controls for purchases.
4. Who processes data for us
We use service providers that process data only on our instructions:
- Unity Technologies (Unity Gaming Services: authentication, cloud save, cloud code; Unity Analytics) - privacy policy.
- Microsoft (PlayFab, for the economy; Azure, for our purchase and refund service) - privacy statement.
- Google (Firebase Crashlytics; Google Play Games; Google Play Billing) - privacy policy.
- Apple (Sign in with Apple; App Store purchases) - privacy policy.
- Only if you agree to rewarded ads: Unity Technologies and ironSource (Unity LevelPlay ad mediation and Unity Ads) - privacy policy; Google (AdMob, including its consent form) - how Google uses data in ads; and the advertising networks LevelPlay works with to fill each ad, which act under their own policies.
Google and Apple process your payment details as the stores; we never see your card. Some providers are located outside the European Economic Area, notably in the United States. Those transfers rely on the European Commission's adequacy decision for the EU-US Data Privacy Framework where the provider is certified, or on Standard Contractual Clauses. Our purchase and rewards service runs in Microsoft Azure's West US 3 region (United States); PlayFab and Unity Gaming Services also process data in the United States.
We do not sell personal data to data brokers. If you agree to rewarded ads, the advertising providers above receive the data described in section 2 so they can serve and measure ads; when you allow personalisation they may also use it for personalised advertising. You can withdraw your consent or object at any time from Settings, and the game keeps working without ads.
5. Security
Data travels encrypted (HTTPS). Rewards and balances are calculated by our servers, not by the device, and the game contains no passwords or secret keys. Server logs never contain payment receipts, access tokens or game requests.
6. Your rights
You can ask to access, correct, delete or receive a copy of your data, object to processing based on legitimate interest, restrict processing, and withdraw consent at any time (Settings → Gameplay statistics or Rewarded ads) without affecting earlier processing. Write to privacy@albertogc.com; we reply within one month. Because we do not know your name, we may ask for the support code shown in the game's Settings or a store order number to find your account, and ask you to confirm it is yours by signing in with the same Google Play Games or Apple account, or with details of a purchase. If you never signed in with either, we cannot identify your data from outside the game (art. 11(2) GDPR); use the options inside the game. You can also complain to the Spanish data protection authority, the Agencia Española de Protección de Datos, or to the authority of your country.
Residents of some US states (for example California) have similar rights to know, correct and delete. If you agree to rewarded ads, the advertising providers may use data for cross-context behavioural advertising, which those laws call "sharing". You can opt out at any time with Settings → Do not sell or share my data; after that, ads are not personalised. We honour browser or device opt-out signals where the law requires it.
7. Deleting your account
See Delete your account and data. Uninstalling the game removes the data stored on your device but does not delete your account on our servers.
8. Changes
We will publish changes on this page with a new effective date. If a change requires your consent, the game will ask you again.
